konnichwa watashi no ai suru kazoku to tomodachi
minasan wa genki to kita kara yokatta desu yo!
It's a simple message if you'd like to decipher it
Anyway, on to my week, so yeah it was transfer week and, wait
for it wait for it, I'M STAYING! yappari desu ne.(as expected right.) Well that's not all, the other companionship had a change, Elder Inagaki
left and a new one came named Elder Haiyashi, I'm still comps with Elder Zimmerman.
So the beginning of the week was futsu or as futsu
as transfer weeks are, but the pivoting point was weekly planning on
Thursday, up to this point almost all Elders have a talk on the first
weekly planning of the transfer, about how this transfer will be
different, what there going to do to become better missionaries for the Lord, well most of the time it doesn't hold to long cuz the very next
day satan doesn't want good things to happen he wants you to stay
average if he can help it, and he tried just that with us, we woke up
Friday morning grumpy and unmotivated, but come comp study instead of
grumbling about it for a while and falling out of our goals, we got focused
on the work and goals so for the past few days we have seen the benefit
of working really hard, greater obedience, and such, and we've seen the
blessings flow in, that's the up side at least, the rough part of the
week was Sunday, which was a great dendo day but in stake conference we
got this information the two stakes Okinawa of Okinawa are now becoming
one steak a bunch of wards are combining and we are going to sell the
church in this area and will be going to the stake center in naha now
which has 2 wards now, things became too spread out i guess and most of
the wards have become branch sized, many have gone less active over the
years and the activity has been running thin, were not sure what going
to happen for missionaries arias right now.
This change is full of uncertainty for us but the
hope is that this slight pruning of the plant if you will, should
stimulate growth , so please pray for Okinawa, the saints really need a
temple here and that's the goal. The work with the members needs to
take a step up if that's going to happen, there is some foreseeable
blessings from this but it is sad that it had to come to this, we will
keep looking forward to the day of 3 steaks and a temple.
That's been the majority of things going on here, if you have any questions, go ahead!
Just know that the work is progressing the Lord must bring us low so he can build us higher!
I love you all and miss you, but not too much.
Stay strong, stay faithful, stay diligent, J.K.S.
