As for this week, we had a few interesting things go down greatest of which are, on Thursday we awoke at the wee hours of the morning 0400 hours in order to get our usual morning run in before our unusually early day was to start, shower food, then off to the train station to catch out bullet train bound for Fukuoka city hakata station terminal, my comp. sleeps on the train, I cannot. Hurtling 180 mph across the Japanese landscape, like the swipe of a blade the train pays no heed to mountains valleys or seas.
Why make the trip? well, elder whiting of the area presidency happened to mozy on down to little old Fukuoka mission for mission tour, the same who came to our stake conference a few weeks before, he did some Q and A it was good and so was the food.
We didn't get back home until 9 that night, on account of the bus ride home 5 hours, versus the 1 and a half of the bullet. That night we had returned with a bit of a heavier load than we had left that morning namely our zone leaders in tow for splits which we would hold the next day. that was the second event worth mention, a fun day of dendo ending off with Japanese Italian food, and hugs goodbye.
As for Saturday, it being Valentine ’s Day what better way to spend it than making chocolates for the ward, YSA activity. Melt down tones of chocolate bars and start pouring. It was fun. From there it’s time for a long bike ride up north the tsukamot family’s house for a sushi dinner, enough to say Saturday was fun all together.
The rest of my week was fairly normal, oh and one of our investigators came to church as well, names heguchi san, cool guy, catholic background.
As for me personally I'm doing great, things have started to pick up allot more and it makes life allot more interesting, we got a new Stake prez. here as well he just got back from a senior mission and got called in, no brain rest there.
I hope our new ones do well for the stake.
